Acupuncture for Bladder and Urinary Health

Bladder and urinary challenges such as overactive bladder, stress incontinence, and recurring urinary tract infections (UTIs) can significantly impact quality of life—and many patients find limited success with conventional treatments alone. At our Maryville clinic, we offer a clinically grounded, evidence-based approach to urinary health using acupuncture as part of a comprehensive care plan.

Acupuncture has been shown to regulate pelvic floor muscle activity, support healthy bladder function, and reduce inflammation in the urinary tract. It can help calm nerve signals responsible for urgency and frequency, making it a promising option for patients with overactive bladder or stress incontinence. For those dealing with recurrent UTIs or bladder discomfort, acupuncture may also help support the body’s natural defenses and improve urinary tract resilience.

Our treatments are non-invasive, comfortable, and tailored to each patient’s health history and needs. We welcome both men and women experiencing urinary health concerns and take a holistic approach that integrates acupuncture with personalized wellness strategies. We also collaborate closely with your primary care physician or urologist to ensure safe, coordinated care.

Whether you're seeking symptom relief or long-term urinary support, acupuncture offers a science-backed option worth exploring—without the side effects associated with many medications.

Acupuncture is a complementary therapy and is not intended to replace mental health care, psychiatric treatment, or medical supervision. Please consult your healthcare provider for serious or ongoing emotional distress.

What To Expect During Your Treatment

We begin with a gentle discussion of your urinary health concerns—whether it’s urgency, pelvic tension, or recurring infections. Your treatment is designed to support bladder and kidney function, improve circulation to the pelvic area, and regulate nerve signals. As you rest, acupuncture works to restore balance and comfort. Many clients feel improvement in control and relief from tension after a few sessions.
